Headless commerce: Shop Usability Award 2023 goes to Betzold

The modern headless commerce architecture of betzold.de is based on the novomind iSHOP SaaS shop system and the novomind iPIM product information management system. The novomind software package has been in use at Betzold since 2015 and has since been regularly optimised, expanded and taken to the next level. Following a comprehensive relaunch in January 2023, the multi-award-winning online shop – among others, Betzold already won the Shop Usability Award in the B2B category in 2018 – was completely converted to the current headless structure, representing a further step in the Swabian company’s digital and commerce strategy, which focuses on flexibility, dynamism and user-friendliness. The long-standing novomind partner creativestyle from Munich was responsible for the design and realisation of Betzold’s headless front end.
