Customer focused technology is the DNA of novomind: for 25 years, the software professionals have implemented demanding digital commerce and customer service projects – as technology partners, product manufacturers, solution developers and service consultants. 25 years of innovation, using artificial intelligence from the very beginning.

Where novomind founder Peter Samuelsen started in 2000 with “Lydia”, one of the first avatars, today countless variants of chatbots, mailbots and voicebots populate the digital channels and GenAI has started its triumphant advance into all sectors of the economy. This episode demonstrates that, over the past 25 years, novomind has consistently been on a journey into the future, anticipating new, intelligent technological possibilities and exploring new avenues. Always in search of bespoke solutions that provide tangible added value and enhanced efficiency. “Today we are more innovative than ever before, utilising the latest AI technologies and always keeping our finger on the pulse,” says Stefan Grieben, CEO of novomind.

Every day, around 500 employees from 27 countries work on a wide range of projects for nearly 250 customers worldwide. Some have been with us since day one, both employees and customers. In addition to innovation and a passion for technology, values such as being down-to-earth and reliable are also typical of novomind. “Since our founding, we have been owner-managed, independent, and values-oriented,” emphasises Stefan Grieben. “This is what our customers and our team know and appreciate.” Today’s customer base includes many relevant companies from the trade, industry and energy supply sectors, as well as the banking, insurance and services sectors.

The current anniversary year focuses on the rapidly advancing automation processes across all areas of the economy and society. It is rare to find a customer project that doesn’t utilise AI effectively, whether in digital commerce or customer service, from novomind AI agents to digital shopping assistants. Notably, it is not just the B2C sector but also the B2B sector that is increasingly seeking innovative solutions.

Naturally, the company will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The ‘novoinsight’ customer event, held annually in November, will not only highlight the latest trends and achievements but also reflect on 25 years of novomind. “As always, all our customers, partners and friends are warmly invited”, says Stefan Grieben. And there can be no doubt that this year’s traditional after-show party on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn will be particularly special. While novomind will proudly look back on 25 years of development history, it will also look forward and continue its journey into the future.
