Blood cancer can affect anyone. Those who fall ill require a suitable stem cell donation, which is often their only chance of survival. The likelihood of finding a matching donor increases with every new person registered with the German Bone Marrow Donor Centre (DKMS).
On 28 January 2026, DKMS registration campaigns were held at the offices in Hamburg and Rostock under the motto “novomind seeks lifesavers”. Numerous employees responded to the call, provided cheek swabs and registered as potential stem cell donors. The cost of 50 euros for each new registration was covered by novomind.

“It’s fantastic that we took part in the campaign. I personally know the family affected, and it makes me really proud that as a company we can give something back to society,” says Mark Moeken, CFO of novomind.
Anyone who would like to follow novomind’s example and register with DKMS – to help improve the chances for Ben, Lio and others who rely on stem cell donations – can find out more here: https://www.dkms.de/aktiv-werden/online-aktionen/loewenjungs
