Next digital project based on novomind iSHOP after the DAS FUTTERHAUS app
Hamburg, 4 March 2025. On its way to becoming an omnichannel retailer, DAS FUTTERHAUS, a specialist retailer for pet food and accessories, relies on software from novomind AG. Following the successful introduction of the DAS FUTTERHAUS app in 2024, the family business based in Elmshorn has now launched its online shop at www.futterhaus.de. Like the app, the shop is based on novomind iSHOP, the powerful omni-channel shop system from novomind.
The new DAS FUTTERHAUS website was launched in October 2024. Since then, the various shop functionalities have been implemented step by step. At its launch, the DAS FUTTERHAUS online shop offers a core range of around 5,000 products. Like the DAS FUTTERHAUS app, the shop is designed in modern headless architecture. Decoupling the frontend from the backend provides maximum flexibility for future expansion.

The DAS FUTTERHAUS app is already a great success: More than 650,000 of the around 1.3 million loyalty card holders are already using the option to benefit quickly and digitally from the existing loyalty scheme. The app gives loyalty card holders access to current offers as well as exclusive deals and services. Moreover, it includes lots of tips and useful information about pet food and accessories.
The new online shop now offers customers of the popular specialist retailer the convenient option to also shop from home or on the go. Loyalty card holders can thus benefit from the DAS FUTTERHAUS loyalty scheme both in the online shop and in any of the numerous physical branches of the franchise company.
