Department of Health Abu Dhabi In collaborations with Abu Dhabi Public Health Center launches COVID-19 Home Isolation Program Smart service on WhatsApp

Department of Health Abu Dhabi In collaborations with Abu Dhabi Public Health Center has launched the COVID-19 Home Isolation Program Smart service on its verified WhatsApp business channel. The new service, which is free-to-use, provides a central source of Services for the enrolled patients in the program, also provides accurate, trustworthy and up-to-date information about Coronavirus (COVID-19) related to home isolations for everyone who want to request the information in United Arab Emirates.

The COVID-19 Home Isolation Program smart service is an automated ‘Chabot’ service, which will allow citizens to get answers to the most common questions about Coronavirus and Home isolations recommendation from Department of Health 24 hours a day.

To use the free COVID-19 Home Isolation Program smart service on WhatsApp, simply save the number +97124193399 in your phone contacts and then text the word [Hi] in a WhatsApp message to get started. A set of menu options is then presented which the user can choose from and then be sent relevant guidance from Department of health Abud Dhabi as well as links to https://doh.gov.ae/covid-19  for further information.

Department of Health Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Public Health Center will be publishing the number in its website and social media pages.

 “Looking at the current health crisis, we are pleased to support the healthcare sectors and the patients by providing the universal virtual assistance mode “WhatsApp” to communicate with patients and families to support at difficult times” Says, Dr Jamal Al Kaabi- Undersecretary of Department of Health.
