CMO Sylvia Tantzen to leave novomind

Sylvia Tantzen joined novomind in 2007 as an account manager for existing customers and new business in the Customer Service Software unit. As of 2012, she headed this business unit and was promoted to the Management Board in January 2019, assuming responsibility for Sales and Marketing at novomind in her capacity as CMO. As Co-managing Director of novomind messaging GmbH, a wholly owned novomind subsidiary, she also played a key role in driving forward the company’s messaging expertise and bundling services and developments in this area.

“I am very grateful for the fantastic time I had at novomind, the inspiring collaboration with colleagues at all levels and with the entire novomind team on all continents,” says Sylvia Tantzen. “I am proud to have accompanied novomind on its visionary journey for such a long time and will always keep an eye on where the company’s future success path leads. Personally, I am now looking forward to the new paths I will be taking with vigor after my break.”

Sylvia Tantzen’s various tasks will be transferred internally to several people: fellow Board member Markus Rohmeyer (CPO) will assume responsibility for Marketing, while responsibility for Sales will be shared by Peter Linnemann (Head of Customer Service Sales) and Joachim van Wahden (Head of E-Commerce Sales). Stefan Grieben (CTO), another of Sylvia Tantzen’s fellow Board members, will become Co-managing Director of novomind messaging GmbH.

The now six-strong Management Board of novomind AG continues to be composed of founder and CEO Peter Samuelsen, Stefan Grieben, Markus Rohmeyer, Thomas Köhler (COO Global Delivery), Stan Carstensen (COO Professional Services) and Mark Moeken (CFO).
