Alexander Bürkle GmbH & Co. KG has implemented novomind iPIM to automate its product information management (PIM) processes. As a B2B technology service provider specialising in electronics and electrical engineering, the company offers its more than ten thousand customers innovative solutions in building technology, automation, robotics, control technology and cable assembly. The family-run business, headquartered in Freiburg (Baden-Württemberg) with a 125-year history, has established the groundwork for high-quality product data with minimum effort by introducing the PIM system from novomind AG, benefiting both its customers and employees. At the wholesale company Alexander Bürkle, product data for around 2.7 million items from three different data sources are automatically merged centrally in novomind iPIM, standardised, and made available to its sales channels, such as the B2B web shop. The wholesaler’s data model largely relies on the international ETIM standard for classifying technical products with its extensive range of features. This ensures efficient and error-free B2B product data exchange.
