Strong team: PUMA entrusts novomind iPOEM with marketplace integration

PUMA is one of the world’s leading sports brands which designs, develops, sells and markets shoes, clothing and accessories. For more than 65 years, top products have been created under the PUMA name which are sold in more than 120 countries around the world for the world’s best and fastest athletes. As the PUMA Group, the company from Herzogenaurach incorporates the brands PUMA, Cobra Golf, Tretorn, Dobotex and Brandon.

For its marketplace integration PUMA is now using, in novomind iPOEM, a top solution for the automated and transparent integration of the PUMA range on the leading B2C marketplaces. The first step was the go live on in May. novomind iPOEM was connected to the PUMA backend systems in a record time of four weeks and this ensures a fully automated marketplace specific product data supply and eBay order and stock processes. A special highlight of this project is also the central near real-time inventory management for the PUMA online channels – via real-time interfaces, all inventory changes are reported to and by novomind iPOEM.

As part of its multi-channel strategy, PUMA is using novomind iPOEM also in the marketplace segment – many international eBay representations are currently being connected and further marketplace platforms are also in planning.

Many well known brands and retailers, including Ulla Popken, Deichmann, s.Oliver, babywalz, MediaMarkt and Saturn, use novomind iPOEM for the reliable handling of their strategic, high traffic marketplace business.
