With a total of 31 B.O.C. and Bikemax branches, BIKE & OUTDOOR COMPANY GmbH & Co. KG operates the largest chain of bicycle stores in Germany. Now, the bicycle company founded in Hamburg is strengthening its omni-channel approach by repositioning its online shops. The two shops, boc24.de and bicycles.de, have been relaunched with the help of software experts from novomind also based in Hamburg. For a few weeks now, the powerful and flexible SaaS commerce solution novomind iSHOP has been used in the shops.
The core requirement was to improve the performance with the aim to create a modern platform that gives customers a quick and easy overview of the various products. In addition, new content and products were to find their way into the shops faster. New features such as checking the availability of a product in the nearest branch as well as various tips and videos offer customers a unique shopping experience. Both shops are responsive and can be accessed from mobile devices without suppressed content, which permits convenient shopping from all devices. Not least thanks to the above improvements, the shops’ conversion rate has increased significantly.
