Once again novomind has managed to score a top result. The software developer scored an excellent rating in the “Commerce and Customer Service” category of the “Hamburg’s Best Employers” award for the eighth consecutive time. This year’s five-star rating puts novomind in the top group of award winners.
“The “Hamburg’s Best Employers” award celebrates exemplary company cultures as well as team spirit,” says Stefan Grieben, COO of novomind AG, adding: “So a big thank you is in order for the entire novomind team. We take great pride in this five-star rating and our eighth consecutive win.” At novomind, team spirit also means creative development drive and passion for new ideas.
All told, novomind looks back on a successful year which saw more than 25 new names added to the client portfolio. “POSTIDENT durch Videochat“, a new video-based identification process, earned novomind and Deutsche Post the “Quality Award” of Call Center Verband Deutschland (CCV). Last summer, the software experts relocated to their new head office which offers even more space for the teams and their creative ideas.
novomind employees are offered a wide array of career development options. The firm plans to expand its currently 220-strong workforce through continued hiring for a range of positions from Java developers to project leaders.
Being a Hamburg-based company, novomind believes in demonstrating its corporate citizenship at the local level. The firm supports a number of kids and youth projects in conjunction with the Preuschhof foundation and other initiatives and non-profit organisations.
novomind employees are known to team up for sports activities, too. novomind sports e.V., the company sports club established by employees and friends in 2007, receives financial backing from the company, which enables the club to offer sailing and other activities for employees. In addition, employees’ fitness endeavours are supported by the company’s sports promotion programme.
The “Hamburg’s Best Employers” award was organised for the eighth time this year. It was jointly launched by professor Werner Sarges of Helmut-Schmidt-Universität Hamburg, the IMWF Institut für Management- und Wirtschaftsforschung, alster radio 106!8 and Hamburger Abendblatt in 2009.
