Established in 2001, the Hamburg-based Preuschhof Foundation has committed itself to helping children and youths in acute emergencies and making their lives better in the long term, regardless of their nationality, social status and religion. Internet service provider novomind and Haspa Beteiligungsgesellschaft für den Mittelstand (Haspa BGM) consider the Foundation’s work worthy of support and have therefore decided to assist the Preuschhof Foundation financially. The donation totalling EUR 94,000 was handed over to Werner Preuschhof, Chairman of the Foundation, by Peter Samuelsen, founder and CEO of novomind AG, and Sven Bode, authorised representative of Haspa BGM, on the occasion of novomind’s annual insight conference at the Curio House in Hamburg. The amount comprises EUR 69,000 donated by novomind and EUR 25,000 donated by Haspa BGM.
“Without financial support, our work would not be possible. We would therefore like to thank all donors, especially novomind and Haspa BGM. This unusually high amount will allow us to support a large number of great projects and facilities and make life better for many children,” said Werner Preuschhof when accepting the cheque.
Over the past years, novomind AG has repeatedly supported the Preuschhof Foundation. For instance, the company cooperated with the Foundation in organising a promotion award for projects aimed at helping children and young people. “Children are our future and it should go without saying that they should be supported from the very start and be given the chance to lead a good life,” said Peter Samuelsen. “The Preuschhof Foundation provides meaningful help to disadvantaged children and is doing a fantastic job. We are therefore more than happy to support it.”
