Müller drugstore chain strengthens its omni-channel strategy and launches new online shop with software from novomind

Trading company Müller has revised its corporate website as well as its online shop from scratch both technically and in terms of contents. The focus of the project was on offering customers a more modern design and a more user-friendly interface to facilitate convenient shopping on the PC, smartphone and tablet computer. Moreover, the entry into the different product groups was optimized to give customers a quick overview over the almost 70,000 items. Orders are delivered to the preferred store free of charge for collection.

The new online shop was implemented using novomind iSHOP. The shop software from Hamburg-based novomind AG quickly delivered the desired results. Thanks to novomind’s long-standing experience, the legacy system was successfully replaced within only six months. The constantly growing demands made on shop systems called for “a significant increase in performance to offer customers the perfect online shopping experience,” says Cornelia Beck, Online Shop Manager at Müller.

The two websites were combined with the aim of further strengthening the omni-channel strategy and expanding the very successful click & collect delivery. Customers now benefit from a single port of call where they can find all information about Müller in a central space.
