Mail order retailer Walz modernizing multi-channel architecture with central PIM

The mail order business Walz GmbH went live with a new and important building block of multi-channel architecture in December 2013.

Based on our standard PIM system novomind iPIM, a PIM project was implemented in the course of the year, which initially supplies HD product data for the in-house e-commerce platform and connected B2C marketplaces such as OTTO, eBay or Amazon for the brands babywalz and walzkiddz. Ulrich Dreher, Walz CIO and Prokurist, describes the product like this: 'with novomind iPIM, we have been able to replace several proprietary systems and improve our internal processes, but above all with the introduction of PIM, we have laid an important foundation for future multi-channel growth.'
