The equally successful online store offers up to 35,000 items. New at Douglas since mid May is the club website doubox.de which has replaced the subscription model, “Box of Beauty”. DOUBOX members enjoy many advantages and can choose between three different boxes Original, Premium and Deluxe. Customers benefit in more ways than one: they can shop in the DOUBOX online shop at special terms and conditions, be the first to try new products, be guests at special events and take part in exclusive competitions. In addition, they also receive many vouchers and benefit from expert tips and advice for using the latest products.
As the existing solution was unable to meet the high demands of the project, the introduction of a new PIM system within the shortest time was needed for the product data supply and DOUBOX specific product data refinement. Douglas chose the standard PIM system novomind iPIM which guarantees an efficient central product data refinement for the DOUBOX e-commerce range. The entry of new items as well as the updating of master data and prices in novomind iPIM occurs via a SAP interface. This was quickly and smoothly realised through the configuration of the standard import by novomind iPIM. In addition, the novomind solution also ensures the central updating and enhancement of the sales product data such as granular attributes, texts, structures and images. The new solution is completed with a structured image filing and supply of product images.
Impressed by the fast implementation for DOUBOX, the user friendliness and the many opportunities which novomind iPIM offers, the team of Nature Me also immediately decided to supply their natural cosmetics shop with product data from the novomind PIM system.
