Educational expert Betzold had every reason to celebrate on 3 May 2018 in Munich. The family-owned company from Ellwangen won the first prize in the B2B category of the 2018 Shop Usability Award, the most prestigious e-commerce award in Germany. With over 700 entries received in total, Betzold beat both “Go In” and “Kaiser und Kraft” in the B2B category. Betzold also made it onto the podium in the special category “B2B Manufacturer” where the company secured the second place.
The mail-order company from southern Germany completely redesigned its online shop with the help of novomind in 2015. Betzold opted for novomind iSHOP, a cloud-based SaaS solution that ideally matches the company’s digital and commerce strategy, which focuses on flexibility, speed and user-friendliness. novomind iPIM was introduced at the same time.
The annual Shop Usability Award has been awarded at the initiative of Shoplupe GmbH since 2008. In 2018, entries were received from more than 700 shops in 12 categories and 7 special categories. The award is one of the most important prices in the e-commerce sector. The participating shops were assessed according to the following criteria: attractiveness, pragmatic quality (usability) and hedonic quality (user experience).
