Jungheinrich is one of the leading international suppliers of conveyor, storage and materials handling technology and operates PROFISHOP, an e-commerce platform for industrial and trade customers. The company’s online shop is not only well received by its customers: in early November, it also won the Austrian e-commerce prize “Anton Award”. In the “Online Shop B2B” category, Jungheinrich PROFISHOP upstaged all other nominees. The jury praised in particular the shop’s technical features and the way in which the individual needs of the B2B customers are taken into account.
The B2B shop was developed using novomind iSHOP. The versatile and flexible shop system for omnichannel commerce has been used since 2015. During its development, the shop’s functionalities were adapted to the B2B order process. Orders can thus be placed directly by entering the article numbers and quantities or triggered by the company’s own SAP system and transmitted to the shop. Different price models and special online prices can be displayed and products can be compared with each other. In addition, a wiki facilitates the order process by offering additional information on technical terms or the product range.
The Anton Award is not the first award received by Jungheinrich PROFISHOP. In 2017 and 2018, the Hamburg-based company already won twice in a row in the “B2B Onlineshops” category of the Swiss Digital Commerce Award. At the beginning of this year, Jungheinrich moreover took 2nd place in the “Best B2B Player” category of the Internet World Business Shop Award 2018.
