Are we living in "1984"? Sascha Lobo and Prof. Dr. Gerrit Heinemann open the annual novoinsight conference

On 17 October, novomind will invite the e-business sector to the grand anniversary of the annual novoinsight conference: This 10th gathering will take place in the Hamburg SIDE Hotel and is simultaneously a trip into the past and future.

Are we living in "1984"? – the keynote at the annual conference takes up George Orwell's vision in his famous novel and links it to the digital future: The well-known author and blogger Sascha Lobo will discuss his own individual view of the 'internet between curse and blessing': 'What you must know about the web in order to understand the world'. The second keynote speaker, Prof Dr Gerrit Heinemann, Director of the eWeb Research Center at the Niederrhein University, will take a direct look at the sector: 'The customer of the future in the age of the digital revolution'.

Following the keynote speakers, you will enjoy the customary format: In the afternoon the event is divided up into the main subjects: 'e-communication' and 'e-commerce & PIM'. For the evening event after the conference, it could hardly be more hanseatic: The International Maritime Museum at the junction between the historical warehouse district and Hamburg's newest district, HafenCity, promises maritime flair right on the Elbe.

On 18 October, the 'Meet the Experts' day offers the opportunity to gain a very personal impression of the ground-breaking process and technologies during short working sessions in novomind's offices. Since: 'if you control the past, you control the future. If you control the present, you control the past'. (George Orwell – '1984')
