This view is also shared by the Federal Association of German Mail Order Traders (bvh). Already since 2007, nearly 40 per cent of all orders with mail order companies in Germany were placed online, according to a representative survey conducted by the bvh. More than 25 per cent of that turnover was generated on marketplaces linked with novomind iPOEM. In 2008, the Internet will finally become the most important order channel of all. More turnover will be generated via this medium than via postal and telephone orders put together. The proportion of transactions handled via novomind iPOEM will increase accordingly.
