These customers are happy to leave the setup, the operation and the upgrades to the software supplier,” says Thomas Köhler.
That online marketing has finally arrived in the furniture retail sector is also borne out by the latest figures published by Institut für Handelsforschung (IfH). According to their data, online furniture sales grew to 5.4 percent last year, up by roughly 40 percent compared to 2012.
