Systems Integration – Host

Here at novomind, we use the collective term "HOST" to refer to almost all backend systems integrated in the course of a project. In the case of SAP or HOST systems, these are usually the main systems. Where software is concerned, internet/intranet applications are usually seen as front end processor solutions.

|
So who integrates who? Development cycles are often significantly shorter for internet/intranet projects than for backend projects. Experience has shown that this is often a good reason why backend system interfaces should implemented by the internet project, if relevant interfaces are available.
