The citizens’ foundation BürgerStiftung Hamburg is delighted to have received a donation of fifteen com-puters from novomind AG. The managing director of the Hamburg software developer, Peter Samuelsen, presented the used computers to the foundation’s general manager, Johanna von Hammerstein. With its donation, the software company showed its support for the important Hamburg institution, which places particular emphasis on fostering and initiating children and youth projects. The PCs are urgently needed just now as the number of honorary members is rising constantly.

"We can really do with the donation. Once the computers have been configured, they will be a great help to us in structuring and expanding our projects. At last, our staff have sufficient IT at their disposal," says a pleased Johanna von Hammerstein, general manger of BürgerStiftung Hamburg.

BürgerStiftung Hamburg was set up in March 1999 by men and women of Hamburg as a community foundation for their city. Their aim: to strengthen the community and mobilise innovation in the long term. The main focus of their work lies in fostering youth projects in underprivileged areas of the city of Hamburg.
