Hours are wasted sorting junk mail – only for the inboxes to fill up again outside of working hours. novomind’s new iMailLight™ software tool is a new e-mail management system, launched at the CeBIT trade fair and available free of charge to help e-mail users combat junk mail effectively. The concept: the new tool is a Microsoft Outlook® add-on that independently sorts incoming e-mails using artificial intelligence. Users are automatically provided with an overview of high and low priority e-mails. Spam e-mails are pinpointed and filtered out of the system – accurately and effectively.

novomind iMailLight™ is e-mail management system novomind iMail™’s "little brother" and designed for use in the private sector. While novomind iMail™ operates mainly on large corporate servers and in contact centers, the new software tool is aimed at helping private individuals manage their incoming e-mails. The software harnesses statistical artificial intelligence to learn progressively from incoming e-mails. According to content, e-mails are sorted into up to 20 separate sub-folders, such as "Newsletters", "Online orders", "Friends & family", etc. And because the system is able to learn automatically from user e-mails, no complex manual configuration steps – such as setting up a Microsoft Outlook® filter rule – are required. novomind iMailLight™ offers the user a highly-intelligent, personal e-mail management assistant.
